Nesta apresentação, irei abordar o papel dos FabLabs nos ecossistemas de inovação e a forma como as startups colaboram com os FabLabs, bem como a ligação entre universidades, incubadoras e laboratórios de prototipagem, apresentando exemplos e experiências reais do trabalho com startups mais criativas, participativas e preparadas para os desafios do século XXI.
In this presentation I will talk about the role of FabLabs in innovation ecosystems and how startups collaborate with FabLabs, but also, the connection between universities, incubators, and prototyping labs and real-life examples and experiences from working with startupsents that are more creative, participatory, and prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.

Quando cheguei ao ZAM (um fablab em Erlangen), procurava principalmente um espaço de trabalho para concretizar projetos de feltragem em grande escala. No entanto, rapidamente percebi o imenso impacto social e criativo da comunidade do fablab. Acabou por ser um projeto muito mais diversificado do que eu esperava. Na minha perspetiva de terapeuta artística, comecei a notar ligações notáveis entre o trabalho num fablab e o bem-estar mental e emocional.
When I first came to ZAM (a fablab in Erlangen), I was mainly looking for a workspace to realize large-scale felting projects. However, I soon gained insight into the immense social and creative impact of the fablab community. It turned out to be a much more diverse project than I had expected. From my perspective as an art therapist, I began to notice remarkable connections between working in a fablab and mental and emotional well-being.ments that are more creative, participatory, and prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.
